Domain Registration / transfer

The above charges cover the cost of linking your domain with our hosting services and will generally cover the time we spend liaising with an existing provider to transfer the registration records. We do not generally charge for cancelling a domain or transferring it away to another service provider.
NB Some top level domains, such as .tv may cost more.

Optional features
Mail lite
A POP3 or IMAP mailbox that is compatible with email software such as Outlook, Thunderbird and Mac OS X Mail, offering 20 MB of storage space and web mail access via Outlook Web Access (OWA).
Hosting will usually include a minimum allocation of 20 standard mailboxes at no additional charge. However a charge may be made if frequent changes are requested.
Mailbox Extra
Ideal for most people’s needs, the Starter Plus mailbox takes the Starter mailbox’s features and adds:
- virus and spam protection
- roaming SMTP – easily send email wherever you are using our authenticated SMTP servers
- 1 GB storage space
- direct mailbox control panel access, enabling end users to administer their own mailbox.
Advanced mailboxes are charged at £20 per annum. Some hosting packages include a small number of advanced mailboxes.
Exchange Mailboxes
business-grade email with optional mobile push email. Features include:
- shared contacts, calendaring, tasks and public folders
- free Outlook 2013 licence
- Outlook Web Access web mail
- ActiveSync and Outlook Mobile Access
- GoodLink for email pushed directly to your Pocket PC, Windows Mobile or Palm device
- POP3 and IMAP support
- 25 or 50 GB storage space
- direct mailbox control panel access.
Exchange mailboxes are charged at £100 (£150 for 50GB option) per year, or £10 (£15 for 50GB option) per month.
Email forwarders
Automatically forwards email directly to any other email address that you specify.
Example: You could set new.business@yourdomain.co.uk to forward to sales@yourdomain.co.uk.
We will usually set these up for no charge, as long as there are not frequent requests of change.
Webmail
When you’re away from your main computer, you can still access your email using web mail or mobile email.
Note: Windows Mobile devices may not be able to log into webmail for Standard and Advanced mailboxes using the default browser. In this instance you could use another web browser on your mobile device (Safari for example), or use the devices built-in email client to connect to your mailbox.

Advanced and Exchange mailboxes come with their own control panels, allowing the user to: change their password, set out of office responders, adjust anti spam settings, etc.
