Route22 Limited provide support for individual PCs, right up to networks including multiple servers and tens of workstations. We can often provide support remotely over the Internet, meaning that there is no need for us to come out to you, minimising costs and making it possible to start dealing with your problem straight away.

Support can be organised as an ongoing contract or a completely ad hoc service. It can cover local and wide area networks, software or hardware issues, laptop repairs and virus and malware removal.

Remote Support

We use a number of different tools to provide remote support including Microsoft's Terminal Server, VPNs, and LogMein. Often, and particularly for clients who have yet to establish a relationship with us, our first tool that we will use will be Crossloop.

Crossloop is particularly suited to situations where a trust relationship has not yet been established with the client, as, with Crossloop, the client remains completely in control of the remote access to their machine.

Where Microsoft Small Business Server forms the hub of the clients network, it is often best to utilise the remote support facilities provided by that server.

In most other situations, LogMeIn provides a very suitable tool. LogMeIn Pro provides many additional features which enable pro-active support where we can't often pre-empt problems before the user is affected and it also allows us to carry out some remote support tasks while the user is still working on the PC.
