Optional features
Standard email mailbox
A POP3 mailbox that is compatible with email software such as Outlook Express, Thunderbird and Mac OS X Mail, offering 20 MB of storage space and web mail access
Hosting will usually include a minimum allocation of 20 standard mailboxes at no additional charge. However a charge may be made if frequent changes are requested.
Advanced mailbox
Ideal for most people's needs, the Advanced mailbox takes the Standard mailbox's features and adds:
- virus and spam protection
- roaming SMTP - easily send email wherever you are using our authenticated SMTP servers
- 1 GB storage space
- direct mailbox control panel access, enabling end users to administer their own mailbox.
Advanced mailboxes are charged at £15 per annum. Some hosting packages include a small number of advanced mailboxes.
Exchange Mailboxes
business-grade email with optional mobile push email. Features include:
- shared contacts, calendaring, tasks and public folders
- free Outlook 2003 licence
- Outlook Web Access web mail
- ActiveSync and Outlook Mobile Access
- GoodLink for email pushed directly to your Pocket PC, Windows Mobile or Palm device
- POP3 and IMAP support
- 2 GB storage space
- direct mailbox control panel access.
Exchange mailboxes are charged at £100 per year, or £10 per month.
Email forwarders
Automatically forwards email directly to any other email address that you specify.
Example: You could set new.business@yourdomain.co.uk to forward to sales@yourdomain.co.uk.
We will usually set these up for no charge, as long as there are not frequent requests of change.
Webmail
When you're away from your main computer, you can still access your email using web mail or mobile email.
Note: Windows Mobile devices may not be able to log into webmail for Standard and Advanced mailboxes using the default browser. In this instance you could use another web browser on your mobile device (Safari for example), or use the devices built-in email client to connect to your mailbox.
Mailbox control panel
Advanced and Exchange mailboxes come with their own control panels, allowing the user to: change their password, set out of office responders, adjust anti spam settings, etc.
Emailing on the move - web and mobile email

We offer both MS SQL and MySQL databases, hosted on shared database servers, and accessible from any of your websites.
Note: we recommend MS SQL for websites hosted on Windows servers and MySQL for Linux.

MatrixStats is our unique, real-time visitor statistics software. It produces easy-to-understand, graphical information on the visitors to your website, including:
- numbers of unique visitors
- where your visitors have come from
- what search terms visitors have used
- other websites that are using your files
- which browsers your visitors use.
Matrixstats is availble from £25 per annum.
